The legal team at Dunn & Johnson offers its clients a combination of experience, legal wit and tenacity which have made it a powerful force for client advocacy.

The firm's founder, Irving Dunn, grew up in the farming country surrounding Lake Okeechobee. As a result of the Great Depression his family was thrown into poverty and at age six he began supporting them as a newspaper boy in West Palm Beach. This early experience accounts for the zeal and commitment with which the firm has always represented the less fortunate members of society as well as their pro bono work.

In 1951 Irving became a graduate of the University of Miami Law School. That same year he was admitted to the Florida Bar and founded "D & J". For close on half a century he has been a respected member of the legal establishment, a community leader, a supporter of the south Florida arts and dedicated family man.

Steven Dunn joined his father's practice in 1985. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Law, he was admitted to the Bar in 1985 and has also been admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.

Dunn & Johnson is staffed by an able and educated paralegal and office staff. It is a tribute to the firm that the staff represent decades of service to "D & J" and has been pivotal in handling the over 6,000 cases undertaken to date!
